Jeff leads the Hardware Engineering function for Lockheed Martin Australia, which includes ICT network and Cyber Architects. In addition to this he is the Chair of the LMA STEM Council, an Adjunct Professor to the University of South Australia, and serves on the LMA UniSA Steering Committee and the UniSA Program Advisory Board.

  • In an engineering career of more than 30 years, he has led engineering programs in the commercial and defence sectors and has amassed extensive technical experience in RF design and signal processing for telecommunications and radar systems.
  • He initially worked as a RF engineer at UniSA in Professor Michael Miller's Digital Communications Group where he worked on several commercial and defence funded Satellite Communications and Terrestrial Microwave communications programs, including the Mobilesat radio modems and the FedSat communications payload. After a five year stint working in the UK, where he worked as a program leader and also contributed RF/RFIC/Microwave designs for Nokia, Hitachi, Broadcom, Intel, and Sony Semiconductor he returned to Adelaide in 2005, where he formed his own design services company and worked in a variety of managerial and design consulting roles for SiGe Semiconductor, DSpace, Auspace, Cohda Wireless, Australian Semiconductor Technology Company, Chronologic, and Solinnov prior to joining LMA in 2015.

Jeff is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He was elected to the DTC board in October 2024.
