Defence Industry Leadership Program 

Developing tomorrow’s defence industry leaders 

The DTC’s Defence Industry Leadership Program is an interactive and immersive program offering participants unique and tailored opportunities for personal and professional growth. The course is structured around four key pillars: self, organisation, industry and community. These pillars provide a framework to develop a leadership skillset realised through self-awareness and improvement, relationship development, innovation, team work and mentoring. The Program encourages progress by unlocking potential, redefining boundaries, forming collaborative partnerships and knowledge expansion of the Defence Industry. The diverse backgrounds, qualifications and experience of participants allows a sharing of knowledge, ideas and perspectives that generates a holistic, open-minded and synergistic approach to leadership and management. Participants will graduate from the Defence Industry Leadership Program with a diploma in Leadership and Management as well as lifelong membership to the Defence Industry Leadership Program alumni.

Leadership development and succession planning is critical to a strong and sustainable defence industry. DILP attracts participants at different stages of their leadership journey, across all levels of organisations, and from a wide range of professions in defence industry:

Cost

The DTC offers this exclusive opportunity to its members at a rate of $9,400 ex GST*. This course is also available to non-members at a rate of $10,450 ex GST*. The price is inclusive of a range of unique defence specific leadership workshops, which no other leadership course on the market offers. 

Note: Funding support by the South Australian Government’s Skilling South Australia Projects is restricted to South Australian based employees only. Participants from other states are welcome to apply, however the full cost of the program will be $14,650 ex GST for DTC members, and $15,700 ex GST for non-members.  This does not include the cost of travel.
