Dr Dan Pronk – “The Thriving Veteran”
Transitioning from military service to civilian life is one of the most challenging yet transformative experiences for many veterans.
In The Thriving Veteran, Dr Dan Pronk will explore the psychological factors that support wellbeing after service and share practical strategies for navigating change with purpose and resilience.
Dan is a former Special Operations doctor who served on over 100 combat missions across four tours of Afghanistan.
He was awarded a Commendation for Distinguished Service for his actions in combat, and following his military career, completed an MBA and held senior medical leadership roles across hospital and prison health systems.
Dan is co-author of the bestselling book The Resilience Shield, and his memoir The Combat Doctor was released in 2022. He is also known for his role as lead medic “Dr Dan” on SAS Australia.
An extraordinary story of service, strength and recovery, Dan’s keynote will leave you both moved and motivated.
