DTC Collaboration Award 2025

The DTC Collaboration Award is awarded to DTC members who have collaborated with other DTC members and/or organisations to address a gap in the capacity or capability of the Defence sector. The award recognises and celebrates organisations who achieve mutual business success as a result of the collaboration arrangement with other organisations.

The award:

Acknowledges organisations who contribute to building the awareness of collaboration practices by sharing examples of best practice and their results, inspiring similar excellence in others; and

Identifies those who drive greater awareness and understanding of the benefits of collaboration in the Defence sector.

Eligibility Criteria

The lead nominee for the Collaboration Award must be a financial DTC member.

  • The Collaboration arrangement must have resulted in a commercial outcome and cannot be an arrangement currently bidding for work.
  • The activity to which the Collaboration arrangement applies:
  • 1. The collaboration must be ongoing/operational within this current year, being 2025 (but the Collaboration may have commenced up to 3 years prior), OR
  • 2. The Collaboration was completed/finalised/concluded within the last 24 months at the time the nomination is submitted.

Evaluation Criteria

  • The Collaboration arrangement has successfully brought together businesses to realise a commercial outcome or benefit to Defence,
  • The Collaboration arrangement addresses a gap in the capacity or capability of the Australian Defence sector; and
  • The emerging products or services produced as part of the Collaboration arrangement has improved Australia’s sovereign capability.

Terms and Conditions

By clicking on the next button below, I herby agree to and accept the following terms and conditions.

1. Finalists for the Defence Teaming Centre Awards will be required to have one representative attend the 2025 Defence Industry Dinner & Awards Ceremony at the Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide South Australia, on Friday 5 December 2025, where the winner will be announced. The identified representative will accept the award on behalf of the team.  

2. All finalists will provide details of the nominated representative attending the 2025 Defence Industry Dinner & Awards Ceremony to the Defence Teaming Centre Head of Events & Promotions two weeks prior to the event.  

3. Selected finalists for the Collaboration Award will be required to allow a representative(s) from Adelaide Film Works onto their facility to obtain video footage of the workplace to feature in the 2025 Collaboration Award Finalists video. The video will be published on the Defence Teaming Centre website, social media channels and will be shown at the 2025 Defence Industry Dinner & Awards Ceremony.  

4. Each finalist will also need to have representative available for a face-to-face interview with representative(s) from Adelaide Film Works for use in the 2025 Collaboration Award Finalist video.

5. The Defence Teaming Centre reserve the right to use any entries, photographs, video, media and / or articles of the finalists and winners of the Awards for promotional purposes.  

6. Nominators agree to be contacted by a representative of the Defence Teaming Centre to verify any information submitted and the eligibility of the nominee.  

7. Only nominees who make it through to finalist status will be notified by phone after the nomination close-off date by a representative of the Defence Teaming Centre.  

8. Award nominees retain responsibility to not engage in conduct which brings or has the potential to bring the Defence Teaming Centre into disrepute.  

9. Award finalists will be responsible for all costs involved in attending the dinner & award ceremony and travelling to and from filming locations.  

10. The Defence Teaming Centre reserves the right to, at any time, verify a nomination and disqualify any nominee who the Defence Teaming Centre believes has submitted an entry not in accordance with these terms and conditions.  

11. The Judging Panel’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The Judging Panel retain full discretion in picking the winner of the Awards.
