Board Director Donna Ferris

Donna Ferris is the Founding Director of TESS Search Partners, an Adelaide-headquartered executive search and recruitment firm with an international outlook. With more than 20 years' experience in executive recruitment and talent advisory, Donna works closely with Defence primes, SMEs and industry leaders to identify, attract and develop the leadership and specialist capability needed to support business growth.

Her expertise spans Defence and Space, advanced manufacturing, construction, infrastructure and professional services. Through her work, Donna has developed an extensive industry network and a practical understanding of the workforce challenges, commercial pressures and growth opportunities facing businesses across Australia's Defence supply chain.

As the spouse of a veteran, Donna also has a personal connection to the Defence community and a strong commitment to supporting veterans and their families. Through the TESS Leaders Insights podcast, leadership workshops and industry engagement, she actively promotes knowledge sharing, professional development and meaningful connections across the sector.

Donna's approach is grounded in integrity, authenticity, collaboration and a genuine commitment to people. As a member of the Defence Teaming Centre Board, she is passionate about ensuring members have a voice, strengthening relationships between industry stakeholders and supporting opportunities that enable Australian businesses to grow, collaborate and contribute to sovereign Defence capability.

Donna was elected to the board in October 2026.
