Australia’s School of Information Operations (SOIO) and Grayline Sdn Bhd (Grayline) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) exhibition, reaffirming their commitment to collaborate on training for the Malaysian Armed Forces.
The MOU brings together Grayline’s systems integration, engineering and consulting capabilities in defence and security with SOIO’s experience in designing, developing and delivering multi-domain operational training.
The parties will work together to identify opportunities to support the Malaysian Armed Forces with training aligned to contemporary operational concepts across domains including cyber and electromagnetic activities, information operations and electronic warfare.
SOIO is an Australian defence training organisation delivering operationally focused short courses across Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) with Electronic Warfare (EW) into integrated, real-time battle management systems.
Since launching its training portfolio in 2018, SOIO has delivered more than 200 courses to more than 2000 students, with training delivered across Australia and internationally, including Malaysia.
“Signing this MOU with Grayline at DSA is an important step in strengthening how we support Malaysian defence capability through practical, operationally relevant training,” said Glenn Murray, CEO, SOIO.
“By combining Grayline’s local presence and systems integration expertise with SOIO’s course design and delivery experience, we’re well positioned to help customers build the skills needed for modern multi-domain operations.”
