Nuclear infrastructure: A conversation about simple paths to enable local industry to play
Join us to hear from a panel of experts uplifting Australian capability in our nuclear submarine enterprise, proudly hosted by Assystem and Shoal Group.
The discussion will consider how targeted training and industry collaboration can help translate Australia’s existing construction, infrastructure, engineering, submarine-building and sustainment expertise into the specialised capability required for nuclear support infrastructure.
Timed immediately before the SIA SubSTEC8 welcome reception, this session offers a useful foundation for delegates seeking current perspectives on AUKUS Pillar I before the conference begins.
The panel will bring together perspectives from nuclear infrastructure, engineering, submarine building and sustainment, and industry skills capability uplift.
Shaun Wilson will lead a short panel discussion on how Australian industry can make better use of existing local skills to contribute to AUKUS-related nuclear infrastructure projects. Drinks and refreshments will follow.
